Returns and Exchanges for Online Orders

What is your return policy?

  • When you purchase online from this website, you have 14 days to contact us for a refund, starting the day after you receive your goods. Once we authorise your return we must then receive your items back within 14 days.
  • Requests for returns beyond this period cannot be accommodated, except by prior written agreement.
  • To initiate the process, please first contact us at info@billingham.com to obtain a return authorization number (RA#) and further instructions. Our team will reply within 24-48 hours during business hours Monday-Friday.
  • Please do NOT return items without a return authorization (RA#), as they will not be accepted.
  • Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping which will not be refunded. An insured carrier with delivery confirmation is highly recommended as we cannot be responsible for returned packages that don't reach us.
  • Kindly note that our original shipping charges to you are non-refundable.
  • Refunds are typically processed within 5-10 business days upon receipt of the returned item. Refunds are only ever made to the original payment method.

 

What is eligible for a return?

  • To be eligible for a full refund, please make sure that all tags are still attached, and that the product has not been damaged, soiled, used, or washed in order to gain a full refund. Items failing to meet these criteria will NOT be eligible for return.
  • If we, at our discretion, do accept the return of a product not in the above condition please expect a restocking fee of at least 20% to be charged.
  • Sale items are non-returnable and non-exchangeable

 

What if I would like to make an exchange?

  • The process for exchanges is the same as returns. Customers should first obtain a return authorization number (RA#) by contacting us at info@billinghamusa.com. Our team will reply within 24-48 hours during business hours Monday-Friday. Once we authorise your return we must then receive your items back within 14 days.
  • Upon receipt of this number, customers can proceed to place a new order for the desired item.
  • Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping which will not be refunded. An insured carrier with delivery confirmation is highly recommended as we cannot be responsible for returned packages that don't reach us.
  • Upon receiving the returned item, we will process the refund for the original item within 5-10 business days.
  • An alternative option, once you receive the returns authorisation (RA) number, is to send the bag back to us and wait for us to receive it, we can then send out the replacement bag. Obviously, we will charge you extra if the new bag chosen is more expensive or refund you the difference in price, if it is cheaper.

 

What do I need to do if I receive an incorrect or defective item?

  • In the rare event of receiving an incorrect or defective item, customers are urged to notify us immediately via email at info@billinghamusa.com. Our goal is to resolve the situation as quickly and efficiently as possible.
  • In this event, a prepaid shipping label will be provided for the return.
  • Upon receiving the returned item, we will promptly dispatch the correct item or issue a full credit.

PLEASE NOTE:
Customers sometimes assume that they must return their items by the method we used to send to them - this is not the case. You may return by any reasonably speedy shipping method (methods that arrive in less than 14 days). We do recommend using a method that is tracked and insured though as we can only issue refunds or replacements for items that we actually receive back.

If seeking to return by UPS or FedEx the full recommended retail prices or their services are often extremely expensive but there are many resellers offering their services at significantly discounted rates. Please be sure to use a reputable website when comparing shipping prices.

 

 

Order Cancellation for Online Orders

You can cancel an order made with us at any point before the item ships – the sooner that you contact us the more likely we will be able to make the cancelation in time. Contact us at info@billinghamusa.com or use our contact form.

If the order has already shipped, shipping and return costs will not be refunded.

 

 

Items Bought From Retailers

Please note that if you want a refund or exchange on an item bought from a retailer, instead of this website direct, then you will need to contact that retailer to organize this. The retailer’s return policy will apply.

 

 

Warranty and Guarantee Claims

All products bought from this website or an authorized retailer are covered by M. Billingham & Co Limited’s 5 year manufacturer’s guarantee – this covers defects in workmanship or materials. You should keep proof of purchase to enable you to make a claim under this guarantee if needed.
